Who We Are

AFRI METALS is a Nigerian mineral exploration, development, and production company with a track record of highly prospective and strategic assets that provides a pipeline of opportunities. We boast a diverse portfolio comprising Mining, Earthmoving, Pure Lead/Lead Acid Battery Production and Recycling, and Supply and Logistics operations.

It was incorporated in 2017 and has since been an Importer/Exporter, Manufacturer/distributor Of Steel, Ferous and Non-ferrous Metals and Allied Products to both private and public sectors including the oil and gas industry.

As the company continues to explore new markets, she has expanded into Supply and Logistics operations which have further improved the company’s services.

AFRIMETALS entered into Mining and Earthmoving activities space, as first as, a contractor. She believes there is ample potential in the Mining Industry as Nigeria has numerous untapped Mineral Resources and has acquired

a number of Mines and Mineral properties and as well as the best of technologies/Fleet of Machines to ensure an efficient and cost-effective Mineral Extraction.

AFRIMETALS is the second-largest producer of Pure Lead in Nigeria. We currently produce 6000MT/yr. The production would be extended to 12000MT/yr soon. Our integrated Plant initially Recycling approx. 1.2 million Batteries, would be expanded to 3 million Batteries to accommodate the annual Battery Requirement in Nigeria.

OUR STRATEGY

The growth and sustainability of the company will depend on;

A focus on minimizing costs and maximizing the production of company’s and clients’ existing assets to full capacity in the short term;
in the medium term, continuing exploration at company and client existing properties to expand resources, extend mine lives, and construct and place new mines into production;
in the medium to long term, to position AFRIMETALS as a consolidation vehicle for improving mining capacity and meeting the annual lead-acid demand in Nigeria.

Director’s Statement
I have seen our business go through some significant changes as Afrimetals’ Managing Director and experienced within the business, however, one thing has always remained constant – our unstintin commitment to our customers. The needs of our clients have always been at the heart of our achievements: from the expansion of our operatios and development of new and existing mining contracts through training our staff to be the best in the mining and recycling industry. Everything we do has the customer in mind and that is why we can proudly say that 85% of our contracts are generated from repeat business.

I am commited to ensuring that alongside our commercial aims, we also prioritse being good corporate citizen and these values run throughout the company, in our people, procedure and attitudes. We take our resposibilities to the environment, our employees and the communities we work in very seriously.

Over the past few years we have introduced a number of initiatives to ensure that our business is as sustainable as possible and we also play a key role in helping our clients meet their own sustainability commitments.

We have invested heavily in training all our staff at every level of the company, from apprentices through to directors, to ensure that our team is the best in the industry. I can honestly say that the team we have in place today is the strongest we’ve ever had, and that is something i am very proud of.

We will continue to grow and offer our clients an even stronger experience in the years to come. This is just the beginning and I look forword to the future with great excitement.
